Tofu Casserole
The vegetarian version of Jansson's temptation is a succulent tofu and vegetable sauce. Smoked tofu is a particularly good substitute for ham, as it tastes quite meaty. An easy everyday meal with vegetables!


500 g potato and onion mix 100 g frozen peas 1 onion 1 clove of garlic 1/2 zucchini in small pieces 1 teaspoon thyme + salt + black pepper 300 ml oat/soy cream 300 g smoked tofu (Jalotofu)


  1. Sauté the onion and garlic for a moment. Dice the zucchini and add to the pan. Fry until the zucchini has a slightly browned surface.
  2. Put the potato and onion mixture and the sautéed onions and courgette in the baking dish. Dice the smoked tofu into strips. In a baking dish, mix the potato and onion mixture, onion and zucchini mixture, peas, dried thyme, salt, black pepper and smoked tofu.
  3. Pour the vegetable cream on.
  4. Cook at 200°C for about 30-45 minutes.
