The vegetarian version of Jansson's temptation is a succulent tofu and vegetable sauce. Smoked tofu is a particularly good substitute for ham, as it tastes quite meaty. An easy everyday meal with vegetables!
Ingredients:500 g potato and onion mix 100 g frozen peas 1 onion 1 clove of garlic 1/2 zucchini in small pieces 1 teaspoon thyme + salt + black pepper 300 ml oat/soy cream 300 g smoked tofu (Jalotofu)
- Sauté the onion and garlic for a moment. Dice the zucchini and add to the pan. Fry until the zucchini has a slightly browned surface.
- Put the potato and onion mixture and the sautéed onions and courgette in the baking dish. Dice the smoked tofu into strips. In a baking dish, mix the potato and onion mixture, onion and zucchini mixture, peas, dried thyme, salt, black pepper and smoked tofu.
- Pour the vegetable cream on.
- Cook at 200°C for about 30-45 minutes.
