The Finns are the heaviest coffee drinkers in the world - the average Finn drinks nearly four cups a day! So a roastery coming from Finland must know a thing or two about making great coffee. Their Gran Palomar coffee originates from small-scale farmers high in the Peruvian Andes, where the fertile soil produces fantastic coffee with a variety of nuances. This single-origin, organic dark roast has tasting notes of nuts, chocolate, plums and honey.

Cafeteria Roastery dates back to 2001, when the founders visited a coffee producing region in the Peruvian Amazonia. They met a group of farmers growing organic coffee on their smallholdings, and that encounter opened their eyes to the challenges these farmers faced and to the benefits of organic farming. They wanted to make a positive impact on people's lives, be it the farmer or coffee consumer. Today, two decades later, they are as passionate and motivated as ever with a mission to roast artisanal coffees that inspire coffee lovers and make a positive difference on the farmers' lives. More than 50% of their selection of coffees is certified organic, and they place a great value on sustainability and traceability of their coffees, nurturing family-like relationships with their farmers, workers and consumers. The roastery's coffees have placed well in various coffee events in Finland. Coffee break, anyone?!
